The first OpenAI DevDay was chock full of announcements, here are a few!

• GPT-4 Turbo features knowledge of world events through April 2023, a much larger context window, and reduced pricing.

• Assistants API is in Beta, build assistants within your own applications. You can test it out in the Playground

• Build your own GPTs: create custom versions of ChatGPT that incorporate instructions, extra knowledge, and any combination of skills.

Elon Musk’s xAI has released Grok, a “rebellious” competitor to OpenAI which will have access to real-time data from X. The model will be released to X Premium+ subscribers.
