Announcements & Analysis

Is Notion expanding its influence as a work management / database tool? Its three most recent major releases have been focused on project management, AI, and now automated workflows within a database and improved formulas. Seems like it may be gearing up to more directly take on Airtable & Monday.

No code certifications are heating up right now. The huge growth of no code platforms coupled with demand from clients looking to hire qualified individuals has led companies like Bubble to create their developer certification. Glide has released a multi-tier certification program. SmartSuite is offering free certification with training class.

Webflow Conf 2023 has wrapped, introducing a slate of new features: create immersive 3D experiences, localize your website, utilize design variables for colors/fonts/sizes.

New Features and Integrations

Coda 4.0 is here and brings with it AI for knowledge, writing, and task assistance. Two-way sync between other applications, add full-page embeds of other web apps, and sync pages between multiple locations.

Microsoft brings Copilot to Power Apps for a more powerful app building experience, and Copilot functionality can be enabled for end users to ask questions about app data.

n8n announced their LangChain integration, letting you build smart, context-aware LLM apps and integrate them with workflows.

Airtable added new formatting options for number fields.

WeWeb launched new plugins for NPM and Google Tag Manager. Take editor backups and use Visual Studio Code inside of the WeWeb editor.

Retool Workflows is now generally available.

Supabase now supports broadcasting real time messages via REST API. A wrapper for Airtable is also now available.

New Finds

Frame.so: a minimalist suite of productivity tools built for teams

Induced.ai raised 2.3M (backed by Sam Altman) to build virtual agents to complete manual tasks via browser automation.

Datatera.ai: convert files and websites to structured data
